With this sort of thing, I think there’s a tendency to draw on events or realizations that occurred extremely early in life,
as if the things we did when we were youngest are the most indicative of what we ought to do as adults.
My earliest memory is me throwing sand into my cousin Jonathan’s eyes,
so let’s just go ahead and skip to the present day.
I am a copywriter at Preacher in Austin, Texas.
Before that, I was a copywriting student at the VCU Brandcenter.
Before that, I worked at a law firm,
and before that, I worked at a water park during the summers.
One day at work I saw a mother and her husky eight-year-old son
slow dancing to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd in a wave pool.
